      Exhibit Summary Booth No. 41802

Incorporating the total technological strength of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the manufacturing, sales, and service divisions were integrated in a single new company launched under the name, "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Plastic Technology Co., Ltd." This new company is making its first appearance at this year's IPF Trade Show, and will be introducing an array of new products and new technologies, together with the 3000em super-sized electric powered injection molding machine which offers both a space-saving design and the industry's fastest operation and largest mold clamping force (3000 tons). A molding demonstration will occur at the trade show to illustrate the high performance of this electric injection molding machine.

3.The
contents

of exhibition
  1. Mitsubishi Electric Injection Molding Machines
3000em-470 (Large-screen projection of actual molding operation)
This space-saving model offers the industry's largest mold clamping force (3000 tons).
It also boasts the industry's fastest cycle time, and a center press platen mechanism for flashless molding, all of which add up to dramatically improved productivity.

    450ME II-35, 650ME II-100 (High quality, stable molding)
High quality and stable molding will be introduced, featuring servo motors developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries which power the industry's first beltless, high-power injection and space-saving 5-point type toggle mold clamping mechanism.

  2. Introduction of temperature control system (molding of transparent items without weld lines)
There will be a demonstration of rapid mold heating and cooling control with servo-powered injection that enables high quality molding without weld lines.
The injection molding machine, temperature controller, and mold are all controlled as a single Mitsubishi-developed system (active temperature-control molding), resulting in high quality and stable molding with a shorter cycle time. This system is easily controlled from the control panel on the injection molding machine.

  3. Molding support system (webMAC, remote MAC etc.)
IT technology such as webMAC (remote monitoring system), etc., will be introduced which permits data from molding machines to be freely obtained and transmitted to remote sites by a personal computer application, thereby allowing remote production management and quality monitoring.
