In April 2005, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. was spun off from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. as a comprehensive manufacturer specializing in injection molding machines.
Since that time, and aided by the technology of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the Company has been expediting the decision-making process and initiating flexible responses, as well as increasing our concentration and focus on product development.
The trend towards market globalization has seen a diversification of customer needs and, consequently, the Company has strived to commercialize its technologies by proposing unique solutions based on years of experience in communicating with its customers. These efforts have resulted in such widely renowned products as the world's fastest, super-sized electric injection molding machine, the world's only super-sized electric multi-material injection molding machine, and temperature control systems for producing high-quality molded products.
While promoting these activities, the Company also intends to propose effective uses of plastic resources and offer environmentally-friendly products.
